Tyler Macon is a rising second-year law student at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She received her B.B.A in Finance at Texas Southern University, but always knew her future was in the legal field. For as long as she can remember, Tyler has aspired to be a helping hand to others and eventually decided she could fulfill her life’s purpose through a career in law. After finishing her first year of law school, Tyler grappled with the area of law she desired to practice: civil litigation (to help a generalized area of people) or family law (to hone her skills in one area). Her time interning with Green Family Law brought a lot of clarity to her decision as it made her passion for helping people, specifically parents and their children, through familial obstacles burn much brighter. After graduating with her Juris Doctor, Tyler plans on practicing family law, though she may dabble in other areas, with the hopes of opening her own law firm in the future.
